1/16/2024 0 Comments Yhm turbo keymo9mm isn't as punishing but its my peace of mind as I like the idea of a sacrificial baffle. The R9 doesn't have the inconel blast baffle like its Turbo and Resonator cousins. Keeps the R9 short as possible with the same foot print as the included direct thread but with the added benefit of the built in brake. I originally bought the Jmac X37 for my Turbo K but decided to migrate it over to my CZ Scorpion and use it with the R9 which is just a tad longer than the Turbo K. There is nothing wrong with that mentality. ![]() Plus the can should be covering them anyway. 419's look a little funky on a skinny bbl, but who cares. People that choose a mounting system for looks are /īut YHM mounts look good in my opinion. ![]() Or if you're super brittle, Area 419 for super minimalist with tapers and the bonus of left hand threads between mount and muzzle. Weight wiennies whinning over 3oz need to go to the gym, that's nothing, go Kurz if you're concerned. It'd be interesting to see if Kurz is noticeably louder because the small loss in volume they cause. At least try it since you'll already have it, and switch it out if you hate it.Īs others have mentioned the YHM Kurz version is shorter, lighter, and looks good but I haven't gotten a hold of one yet. They have the tapers that are all the rage, plus ratcheting secondary retention just in case, without having to use 2 hands for install/removal. I'd stick with those, as I think they are one of the better ones out there actually. There's nothing wrong with the mounts coming with your can.
